W/?
Lo,
You may have seen my post on the questions board, but basically I currently have a W/E12, and am not too keen on the elementarist(sp?) part.
I'm thinking of making a new char with the same name as my old one so I can still use the weapons/armour customized for me,
Does someone have any advice on the best secondary profession for a warrior.
My fav kind of char is a strong, powerful melee char. Whilst I could keep my current W/E and only focus on the W skills, am I missing out on stuff available in an alternative secondary that could really benefit a melee based char?
Ty.

W/E is good (IMO) because you can use earth magic for defence.
W/Mo makes a good tank though.

I'd not thought about using earth magic, though I do have a few skills, but my earth magic attribute is on 0 atm.
Here's a question, the Enchantment Spell -> Magnetic Aura (75% chance of blocking melee attacks for 5 seconds - earth magic). With spells like this, what would be the advantage of having a high earth magic attribute than a low one. I can understand with having high firemagic, then spells using this do more damage I assume. I wouldn't have thought having high earth magic would make the Aura last longer though as it specifies 5 secs.

W/N is good. Some Necromancers hexes goes great with a warrior.

Yea, about that...
If you delete a character and make a new one with the same name, you can't use the customized stuff later again.
If you really like some of the stuff that you use, I suggest changing your 2nd profession when you get to the desert.

Btw making a new char with the same name will not let you use the same armor of your previous char!
edit: haroldo beat me to it

Thanks guys
I'll wait until I get to the desert before changing.
I've only just got to Yak's bend. Is it long until I get there?

youve got a somewhat long way to go. If you really aren't having fun with this char, you should just make a new one and see if you have fun with that one.
